Following an encouraging debut effort at Doncaster earlier this month, Space Shuttle is bound to have his supporters but the form of that five-runner race may not amount to a great deal and preference is for Gifted Gamble, who is preferred to Beckermet. The last mentioned represents the in-form stable of Roger Fisher and it came as no surprise to see him run well first time out at Hamilton recently. However, Beckermet was two lengths behind Kevin Ryan's Distinctly Game that day and Ryan should have a good line through him for his his runner here Gifted Gamble. The selection stepped up on a promising debut effort over course and distance in the soft when a close third at Hamilton last time. The faster conditions should suit the sprint bred colt and he looks the one they have to beat. Courtintime, a stablemate of Space Shuttle, gets all the allowances going and has to be respected on her debut along with Fulke Johnson Houghton's Amphitheatre but it is Gifted Gamble who gets the vote.
