Valiant Romeo has slipped to an attractive mark and can take advantage of receiving weight from all of his rivals, the best of who look to be Dunn Deal and Quicks The Word. The last mentioned is also well treated on his best form but has given little sign of encouragement of late and a bigger threat may come from Dunn Deal, who represents the in-form stable of Mark Brisbourne. Top weight Whistler has to be respected if in the mood but is not the most consistent of sprinters and may prove to be best watched for the time being along with stablemate Beyond Calculation. Loughlorien may be interesting now that Richard Fahey has his string in better form but the vote goes to Valiant Romeo. Robin Bastiman's colt has slipped to a fair mark and showed his best form for some time when chasing home Cash at Musselburgh earlier this month. A reproduction of that effort may suffice.
