A good contest here and one that can see Martin Pipe and Tony McCoy produce yet another winner in Whispered Secret, while In The Frame, Shamdian and Sir Laughalot can all go well. Whispered Secret was a very easy winner at Bangor last time from a mark of 115 and runs from the same rating here. Trip and ground both suit and he looks the type to run up a sequence at this level in the summer months, so he gets the vote. In The Frame is officially 4lb well in at the weights after a 20 length Wincanton success last month. It is fair to say that there may well be more to come from the gelding too and he can certainly give the selection something to think about, but he too will have plenty in the locker and can prevail. Shamdian has just his fourth outing over hurdles here. The son of Indian Ridge came good for Mick Fitzgerald at Hereford last time out in defeating Frontier by three lengths and comes out relatively quickly on a fast surface that he appeared to enjoy. He is not underestimated now he has got it right once, but may still have to give best to others, while Sir Laughalot showed plenty of promise on debut and may have found his niche over hurdles, though that elusive first career win still looks like coming at a later date. The selection here then, is Whispered Secret.
