Silence Reigns has an obvious chance in this hunter chase and is taken to supplement his recent Warwick success at the main expense of Galway and Viscount Bankes. The last mentioned gained a deserved success at Huntingdon last time but is probably better over further and he is probably best watched. Star Jack had little chance behind the well-handicapped Feel The Pride in a handicap at Wetherby last time and should appreciate the return to this company, while Cheltenham winner Let's Fly has a hurdle success at this course to his name and has to be respected on recent evidence. Be My Friend had every chance when unseating his rider behind No Retreat at Bangor last week and has to be respected although today's shorter trip may not suit and a bigger threat may come from Galway, who holds Enitsag on running at Cheltenham and lost no caste in defeat behind Red Brook Lad at Hereford last time. Paul Nicholls has done exceptionally well with his hunters this year though and Warwick winner Silence Reigns should be too classy for his rivals.
