MIDNIGHT GOLD, Shammy Buskins and Presentandcorrect may be the three to focus on in a competitive race although it is by no means that simple. All three represent yards that are in decent form at present which counts for plenty and Peter Bowen's Midnight Gold also comes into this race in the form of his life and on a career high mark; with the form that he's in at present, that may not be enough to prevent him from winning again. Shammy Buskins has plenty of form to his name over further so there's a slight doubt as to whether this trip is on the short side for him but he is a course and distance winner as recently as August and Lawney Hill has her team of horses in tremendous form. Presentandcorrect's win on his penultimate start was his first over fences in fifteen starts but he's a consistent performer who should give another good account but he may not get the better of Midnight Gold.
