chased leaders, went 2nd 7th until 3 out, ridden after 2 out, went 2nd again final bend, closed last, switched right flat, unable to get on terms
led, clear before 2nd until 5th, not fluent 7th, headed after 2 out, weakened well before last
chased leader until 7th, slow 9th, challenged 3 out, led after next, soon kicked clear, reduced lead last, held on well
very reluctant to race and lost many lengths, latched onto rest by 4th, pushed along 10th, outpaced in last after 2 out, went 3rd before last, stayed on flat
HILLVIEW has to shoulder plenty of weight here but is an improving gelding who has already delivered two victories over course and distance on the forecast ground. He should have more to offer as a six-year-old and is hard to oppose under Sean Bowen with whom he gets on so well. Aye Aye Charlie will also stay the trip and Christian Williams has done well to coax the Midnight Legend gelding back to winning form. He represents the main threat. Ennistown needs to improve on recent performances but Presenting Yeats is not without a chance in receipt of two stone from the selection.
