Honan gets a tentative vote over Miss Lehman, with Fine Palette and Head Boy just a couple more with chances. This is another poor contest, and one that should be well within the grasp of Honan. Martin Pipe's six-year-old is a bit enigmatic to say the least, but was on his best behaviour when scoring at Plumpton in similar company to this, having been chasing earlier in the campaign. He failed to defy a six-pound rise when third at Towcester subsequently, but a glance at his rivals here augurs well for his chances. Miss Lehman looks the best of Jimmy Frost's pair, having been twice successful this term, while Fine Palette has the assistance of Timmy Murphy on his first run since finishing fourth on his debut at Newton Abbot in July. Head Boy is the dark horse as he was a fair fourth to United Spirit in a better race than this at Huntingdon in September, but in a race best brushed over quickly, Honan is the selection to small stakes.
