Eila may be good enough to make a winning chase debut in this company with Thenamescapesme and Humid Climate others for the short-list. This has a competitive look to it but it's not a great contest and the selection has shown enough over hurdles to warrant selection. Nigel Twiston-Davies' yard is chase orientated and it would be no surprise were his mare to find some improvement for going chasing. Her dam won over fences and was related to some smart chasers so there's some scope on that score and track and trip should be ideal. Tom George's yard has a similar reputation and he has regularly exploited handicap marks earned over hurdles in chases over the years.
