In depth

Verdict

Avispa sets the standard and her solid hurdling technique and experience will stand her in good stead as she seeks a second career success but the feeling remains that she is still underachieving in terms of her winning ratio. She is clearly the one to beat but STAMP YOUR FEET created a really good impression when scoring with plenty in hand on his second bumper start. He's presumably been waiting for the better ground and is an attractive alternative to Avispa, especially with Barry Geraghty travelling over to take the ride. Hahnenkam is another bumper winner of promise and it would be remiss to exclude the chances of Crown Hill. The Definite Article gelding has left Henry De Bromhead to join Fergal O'Brien and brings respectable Irish maiden form to the table.
