In depth

Verdict

Ascot Day is a maiden over hurdles but won over 1m4f on the Flat at Epsom in July. SAMBA DANCER appeared to have a bit in hand when winning his maiden at Uttoxeter. He looks to be on an upward curve and may be capable of defying top weight in this ahead of Galata Bridge, who didn’t beat much at Plumpton. Blueberg is probably capable of better than he’s shown so far and may be best of the rest.
