In depth

Verdict

Bumper winner ROCK ON HARRY was the subject of an investigation by the stewards when fourth at Uttoxeter last time. He was only beaten under ten lengths and that form alone affords him a decent chance here with improvement expected. Callin Baton Rouge shaped well on her hurdling bow when a fair third at Cartmel and is another who should progress with the benefit of experience. Fandabidozi has been on the premises on recent starts although he was tailed off at Chester on Saturday when returned to turf. This should be much more up his street but the vote goes to SOBEGRAND. He stepped forward considerably on a second start over timber when a Worcester third, staying on steadily, and could be the one if building on that improved effort.
