      Verdict

Laertes Course, Above Ground and Catherine's Run are the three to look at here and Catherine's Run is taken to follow up a game Worcester success. That success was not unexpected, and she gave the impression there was better to come. That was her first experience on a racecourse and she is sure to have benefitted from the experience and looks the one they all have to beat. Laertes Cause has run well on both his starts to date, made favourite on his Stratford debut and finishing second, but making up for it with a narrow win at Hereford. He appears to be a little awkward and gives the impression he is a tricky ride and is taken on. Above Ground, trained by Jonjo O'Neill is an intersting newcomer. Out of a dam who was a half-sister to the classy chaser Tipping Tim, Above Ground should be watched in the market, a remark that also applies to Nigel Twiston-Davies' debutant Stinker, who appears to have plenty of speed in his pedigree. Catherine's Run can win again.
