PARADISE EXPECTED made a pleasing debut for Tim Vaughan last month and is fancied to hold off Dew Drop Inn and Present. The last named has the dubious distinction of setting the standard on the official BHA ratings and, having won off a 6lb higher mark, Matt Gingell's mare has a feasible chance of brushing aside top weight. A market move in her direction would be interesting. Dew Drop Inn posted her best effort to date with a near miss at Taunton a fortnight ago. And she will be a big threat if putting in a similar display this afternoon. Any rain before the off would be a bonus for her. Nevertheless, Paradise Expected has long threatened to win a race of this nature and, as she appears to be the most consistent of the bunch, it can pay to stick with the six-year-old now that she is benefitting from the Vaughan magic touch.
