Verdict

YAWARY looks to have been found a decent opportunity and she is preferred to Seamster and Set Back. Clive Brittain has plenty of runners at Southwell this afternoon but this looks to be the pick. A first time tonguestrap seemed to make all the difference to Yawary's performance and on balance, the handicapper could have been much harsher than what he has been. Seamster won well at the course in January. The second placed runner gave the validity of the form a boost last week. Set Back showed very little as a juvenile but has improved since a winter break to post victory in two claimers. The handicapper has estimated his improvement to have been 10lb so far. Inside Track is the archetypal course specialist. He runs with remarkable consistency so does not exactly give himself much room for manouvere with the handicapper. Premium Charge has gone up 10lb since taking an apprentice handicap at Southwell. He was soon disposed of when attempting to defy his new mark at Lingfield. Adam De Beaulieu could be one to note in the market. Having considered the alternatives, Yawary seems to have the best credentials.
