A very tricky contest that may fall to Golfagent, with Stravmour and Rhetoric put forward as the main threats. It is surprising to see Golfagent back on the all-weather after two recent victories over the jumps. Both the successes came at Taunton, he won a seller back in February and followed up in a better race last time. His exploits on the sand at Wolverhampton have been pretty uninspiring, but now he has hit form over the sticks maybe he will now show his true colours on the level. Stravmour could be the biggest threat to the selection having returned to winning ways over a mile and six furlongs here last time, the extra distance will not be a problem as he ran well over this trip at Wolverhampton on his previous outing. The dark horse in the line up is Rhetoric who returns to the all-weather after a spell over hurdles. He was rated as high as 58 last winter so if returning to his best form he could be in with a squeak. So in what is a modest event Golfagent looks to have the best credentials.
