TRIUMPHANT WELCOME is the token selection here ahead of Tag Team and Tadlil. This race shouldn't take much winning and the selection is racing in this grade for the first time following a steady fall down the handicap. He is blinkered for the first time and has run well on this surface before, so the feeling is that he should run well. Positivity is still a maiden and is overlooked despite a better effort last time out. Place The Duchess bumped into a very progressive rival last time out at Kempton and is considered, as is course and distance winner Tag Team (form of recent fourth has been franked) and Dontuwishitwereso who looks well-handicapped. Tadlil ran well behind Diamond Blade here earlier in the month and has been given a 2lb rise in the weights as a result; that doesn't look insurmountable and a bold bid is expected. Stormburst and Tenancy both come here on the back of better efforts in defeat last time out, whilst the drop in trip will suit the Namid filly Lambrini Lace and she looks handicapped to strike.
