      In depth

      Verdict

Gaudalpin gets the vote over Sion Hill, Peggys First and Swallow Senora in the finale. Gaudalpin's only previous success came over seven furlongs here in October 2005, and as she had Swallow Senora behind in third then, she should almost certainly hold that rival on today's terms. A bigger danger then could be Sion Hill who has been placed on a couple of occasions, and hails from a stable that is always worth following on the all-weather around this time of the year. Peggy's First is more used to the Polytrack at Kempton, but if quickly adapting, is another to consider. Of the five course-and-distance winners in the line-up, preference is for Ace Club, but for the winner we return to Gaudalpin.
