      Verdict

Hilal is less exposed than most of these and Charlie Egerton's gelding has to be resepected but he is hard to back with any confidence on the form shown so far and a better bet looks to be Log On Intersky, who gets the vote with Donald Will Do rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has shown decent form in his recent races, latterly when a close second at Fakenham, and a reproduction of that effort today off the same mark may well suffice. Peter Beaumont's Moor Spirit has disappointed in both starts this term and he looks best watched at present, while Adecco has failed to complete in his last two starts and is hard to recommend. A market move for Gaye Dream would be of interest but a bigger threat may come from Caroline Bailey's Donald Will Do, who is less exposed than most and is open to improvement. Log On Intersky has done little wrong of late though and he is taken to gain a deserved success for Joseph Cornwall.
