Global Strategy comes here in search of the hat-trick and is selected to get it, at the main expense of Miss Holly, Raise The Heights, and Blue Hills. Rae Guest's 4-year-old is taken to defy an eight pound rise for his latest win. He won with plenty in hand that day and whilst it wasn't the strongest race ever, he has been impressive in his last two runs when stepped up in trip and the longer distance today looks sure to suit. Raise The Heights ran as though the step up in trip will when running Jazrawy close last time out. The form of that race has been franked by the winner going in again since and he holds solid claims today. Red River Rebel struggled off his revised mark last time out and has subsequently been dropped 4lbs, however that may not be enough and he may appreciate a drop in class if he is to go in anytime soon. Blue Hills has been in good form recently for trainer Peter Hiatt, however his mark continues to inch up and that could prove to be a stumbling block. Trysting Grove and Mustakhlas both have claims if reproducing their recent runs, whilst Declan Carroll's Miss Holly is consistent and has place claims.
