    Verdict

    David Barron's STAR PROMISE is better than she showed when last seen at Wolverhampton in October having won well here in July and she is taken to resume winning ways dropped into a seller with the main dangers rated as Tamarind Hill and Bubbly Bellini. George Baker's gelding has run well in sellers and claimers in his last two starts at Wolverhampton and should be suited by the Fibresand given his American dirt bred pedigree so he has to be respected. Peter Grayson's Stoneacre Joe has been well held in both starts so far so he makes no appeal and of more interest is Tamarind Hill. Alan McCabe's gelding has been running well on the Polytrack in recent outings and he has every chance if able to run to a similar level of form on the Fibresand but he is not certain to be as effective on this track and a better bet looks to be Star Promise.
