      Verdict

Batto, a late foal, is related to winners but the question is whether he will he be sharp enough first time up. Blue Savanna met trouble in running at Lingfield on his last run or he would have finished closer. Esteban showed some speed on his Turf debut and is related to winners. Inspector Hector showed little on his debut but is certainly bred to get better in time, being by Hector Protector (who won the French Guineas and Jacques le Marois) out of a Sharpen Up mare that won twice in France and is from the same family as the Irish Oaks winner, Lailani. Just Fly has suggested ability and should be improving. Rifleman has plenty to like on breeding too. Surdoue is up in trip after showing promise at six furlongs, including at Wolverhampton. Discoed showed promise over six on her debut but has not really progressed. She can be slowly away too, and drops back to 7f after two runs at a mile. Green 'n' Gold has shown some promise but at a modest level. Greta d'Argent is a half-sister to Mana d'Argent and Ela d'Argent, the latter winning on her third start as a juvenile over a mile. Milly Lahib was second on her debut on hard going at bath over 5f but did has not progressed although this trip could suit her better now. Simple Song showed little over a mile on heavy on her debut and may need more time but hails from a good stable. It is a tricky race to weigh up so the TEAMtalk selection is an ambitious one but Inspector Hector could just take the chance to live up to his breeding.
