Genghis was good value for his win at Newton Abbot last month but that was on a soft surface and Peter Bowen's gelding may struggle to follow up off his new mark on this faster ground so preference is for JAZZ DANCE, who gets the vote with Star of Germany rated the pick of the remainder. The selection won in a canter here last time over slightly further but Charlie Mann's gelding should not be inconvenienced by the drop back in trip and he is taken to defy the 12lb rise in the weights. Jonjo O'Neill's Levitski should appreciate the faster ground today than at Bangor last time and he makes more appeal than Warpath, who may struggle to give weight away all round. David Pipe's Star of Germany looks to be going the right way judged by his recent success at Newton Abbot but there was plenty to like about the style of success for Jazz Dance last time and he is taken to follow up.
