FESKO showed promise on her debut and she can get her head in front here; the list of dangers is headed by Shamwari Lodge, Following Wind and Nimmy's Special. Mark Johnston has his string in good form at present and Fesko was a real eyecatcher on her racecourse bow over 5f at Pontefract. She is bred to be suited by this slight step-up in trip, and she can go close. Shamwari Lodge caught the eye on her debut at Newbury when she met trouble in running, but she stayed-on well when she got room and she looks a scopey type who should be capable of winning her fair share of races. Nimmy¿s Special wasn¿t disgraced at Thirsk last time and this extra furlong should suit, The trainer Brian Smart has had a few winners already this week so she has to be respected. Following Wind was well beaten at Ripon last time but this quicker ground might bring about a bit of improvement so she is not without hope.
