Crush On You and Petrichan both come here on the back of wins in banded races last time but have a lot more to do off their new marks in a handicap today so a chance is taken with Franky'n'jonny, who gets the vote. The selection has slipped to a fair mark, remains relatively unexposed and, while lack of experience on this surface is of some concern, he is bred to handle the Fibresand. Like the selection, Perfect Order has an American dirt pedigree and could improve for the switch to the Fibresand but Neville Callaghan's filly is hard to recommend on recent evidence. Monte Mayor Junior also has a pedigree to suggest that he should go well here although his form would suggest not and of more interest may be Pat Haslam's Drawn Out, who is entitled to come on for his reappearance but needs to. Franky'n'jonny lacks a recent run but he may be worth chancing on his return in a race that may not tale much winning.
