Alfasonic looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to supplement his recent Towcester success and is taken to score at the main expense of Nevada Red and The Wooden Spoon. The last mentioned has shown promise in bumpers and over hurdles but would need to improve significantly to trouble the judge. Desperate Dex has given little cause for optimism, while former point-to-pointer Lochanee looks to face a stiff task on his rules debut. Popsleebobross has shown only moderate form so far and of more interest may be Nevada Red, who has run to a consistent level of form of late and should be thereabouts again. Alfasonic fulfilled earlier promise when successful at Towcester on his second start of the campaign earlier this month though and a reproduction of that effort should suffice.
