Intikama has shown some promise for Mark Tompkins but she remains a maiden after seven starts and has yet to prove that she handles the Fibresand so looks best watched in a race taken to go KIND HEART, who gets the vote over Applaude. Trained by Alan Swinbank when successful in a Haydock claimer last time but now in the care of John Harris, the four-year-old only has that one success to his name and is likely to find this tougher. Autumn Charm does at least have winning form here but her latest success was back in January 2008 and she has shown little worthwhile form since then so a bigger threat may come from Sylvester Kirk's Eightdaysaweek, who won a handicap, albeit a moderate one, here in April. Paul Cole's Canton Road is the least exposed of these after just four starts but he needs to improve on all known form to get the better of Kind Heart. Sir Mark Prescott's filly was good value for her win in a novice stakes race here as a two-year-old, has run creditably in both starts this season and she can resume winning ways back on the Fibresand.
