      Verdict

We're Delighted was promising on his jumps bow but it's a performance that still gives him a bit to find with OPATJA who is taken to land this Novice Hurdle ahead of Bijou Dan. The only concern surrounding the selection's chances is the ground with Gordon Elliot's mare yet to race on a surface this quick. That said her top class flat pedigree suggests this going will be spot on and after a win and runner-up spot in her last two starts she justifies her position has the highest rated in the field. We're Delighted was well held by a classy type but miles clear in second place on his hurdles bow over course and distance before returning to the level to put in some solid at best efforts. He's won on this quick ground in the past but you feel he'll have to find all the improvement he's entitled to find to win second time up in the sphere. Bijou Dan has plenty to find on these terms but his run at Bangor last time point to a challenge on his preferred surface and Kingsben should be seen in a better light now back in the Novice ranks. There's only one horse on form going into this and that's Opatja.
