Its been a long time since Lahib The Fifth showed his best form so while he is potentially well weighted we like LONGDALE in this Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle just ahead of Goldan Jess. With capable apprentice James Haliday removing three pounds from the pick's load he'll be running under a weight just three pounds heavier than his last success, which came on quick ground two starts ago. He's a dual winner at this track and should stay this far. Goldan Jess confirmed his well being by running well in a poor quality handicap on the level last time. Luckily for connections he¿s better over obstacles and he only found one too good when just two pounds lighter in one of these three starts ago, however, this is the longest trip he's taken on. Lahib The Fifth last won in 2006 when 18lbs better off and although that losing streak is of a concern he has started to show some form recently and it would be a danger to rule him out completely.
