    Verdict

ARGANIL won at this level in January last year and has been campaigned in better company since. His sole outing on Fibresand back in 2009 resulted in a victory and Kevin Ryan's sprinter can take advantage of today's drop in class. Feelin Foxy has been in fine form on Polytrack but is facing better opposition here while Divertimenti won four times on turf last year but has yet to show his best on this surface. Waveband looks the main threat to the selection having finished second to Silaah here on New Year's Day with the Dandy Nicholls' duo of Sir Geoffrey and Luscivious behind.
