A huge field of maidens but the formbook suggests not too many should get involved. Gormanstown Cuckoo ran very well behind Cottrelsbooley and Buck Barrow at Leopardstown and appears best suited by testing going over the minimum trip, which he gets here. He looks certain to give a good account though the winner's trainer is represented here by SICILIAN SECRET, who though not distinguishing himself since his winning bumper debut generally competes at a higher level and can finally get off the mark over timber. This will be He's Our Man's first attempt over this trip over hurdles and he's probably suited by further though the ground will be in his favour and he will be staying on at the finish. Hurdling newcomer Ithinkbest, formerly with Sir Michael Stoute, is interesting while Fairyhouse bumper winner Sydney Des Pictons was thrown in at the deep end in a Grade 2 on his hurdling bow and will find this less daunting.
