With a generous age allowance, useful hurdler Cross Appeal is one to keep an eye on as he makes his chasing debut though he's up against more experienced rivals and it's a tough baptism. Ad Idem fell on his debut over fences and still didn't look foot perfect at Punchestown but ran well enough behind Flat Out to suggest he will get competitive here. C'Est Ca has been a little disappointing to date over fences and was soon struggling in a Grade 2 last time after early mistakes so this can go to BALLYMAK. Gordon Elliott's charge, unbeaten in points and a bumper, was having his first start since beating Puyol over hurdles in December 2009 when a very good third behind Royal De La Thinte at Punchestown on New Year's Eve and with that under his belt can make the expected progress to take this.
