In depth

Verdict

Xpres Maite, Exit Smiling and Wodhill Schnaps make most appeal in this handicap and the vote is given to Exit Smiling. The selection is in good form and he won well when he beat Moheebb at Newcastle last time. He has proven form over this course and distance and he should go close. Xpres Maite arrives here in cracking form and he was good value for his winning margin last time when he beat Messiah Garvey over 7f. The worry today is the trip as he has never won over 1m and for that reason we will oppose him. Wodhill Schnaps is chasing the hat-trick and he won here last time when he beat Al Rayanah. He could still be one step ahead of the handicapper and he is certainly capable of getting competitive. Indian's Feather has got form here and he can go well at a price, but for the winner we will stick with Exit Smiling.
