A competitive contest gets proceedings underway but something has to win and the principals look to be Lazy Darren, Quicuyo and Amazing King and the narrow vote is given to Lazy Darren. The selection was a good third behind Pierrot Lunair last time out that form looks solid and with the drying ground also in his favour he looks the one to be on. Quicuyo rates the main danger on his latest third behind Crahee but all his best form is on a much softer surface and he is taken on with this in mind. Amazing King is another worthy of respect on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with much confidence. Of the remainder Frank Crow hails from a yard in top form and is another with place claims but he would be much better off with the selection if this were a handicap and for the winner we are happy to return to Lazy Darren.
