Loch Oscaig, Manhattan Boy and Beggars Cap are three against the field in this competitive handicap chase and the narrow vote is given to Loch Oscaig. The selection won well last time out when beating Royal Glen and although rising in the weights he looks progressive and he is taken to defy the handicapper. Manhattan Boy rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when beating Kirby's Glen but this looks tougher and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Beggars Cap is another that could go well as he beat Champagne Rossini he is proven in conditions and will not be far away. Northern Quest is another that could go well but he took a heavy fall last time out and it is hard to know if his confidence would have been affected. Billyandi hails from a yard that has a good record at this track but his overall profile leaves him with a little to find and for the winner we return to Loch Oscaig.
