In an interesting affair, we will side with Old Bailey, with others to consider being Silent Storm, Wainwright and Blue Knight. The selection is improving and clearly enjoys this course and distance. Much as St Ivian is eight pounds better off for the four lengths he finished behind the selection over course and distance on January 1, we will stick with Old Bailey who, judged on recent efforts, also has a good attitude to his profession. Silent Storm is now two pounds lower in the ratings than for his latest effort and, being better over today's six furlongs than the seven he encountered on that occasion, can show up better today. Pawan finished with a wet sail here last time, and if in the same mood must be granted plenty of respect, while Wainwright is now just two pounds higher in the ratings than when scoring at Wolverhampton in January, and he has won here. Blue Knight is one that could be interesting, for he has run well over five furlongs in his last two runs, the step up to six should suit, and he has form on this surface. Overall, though, the vote just goes to Old Bailey.
