THIS ONES FOR PAT disappointed at Wolverhampton on Saturday when attempting to follow up success here over this trip, but a return to the fibresand could pay dividends, although Jilly Why and Mister Incredible can also expect support. Stuart Parr¿s gelding has first time cheek pieces on to eke out some improvement, and being one of the youngest in the race, we can maybe expect him to come on. He¿s giving weight to all but two rivals, and has a lowish draw. Like the selection, Jilly Why is a course and distance winner, albeit back in April, when she hit a real purple patch. Just over a week ago she finished third in a similar event here, when setting off as favourite. Mister Incredible has a decent draw and is towards the bottom of the weights. He's not lived up to his name of late, and last time out struggled here over seven furlongs. Previously placed over six, this further drop down can only be seen as a positive. Egyptian Lord is a course and distance winner, but his best days seem a while ago, and he's not won since March last year. He was well behind This Ones For Pat when the selection broke his maiden tag.A number of these can be considered, but they're inconsistent which is why they're at this level, and our marginal preference is for This Ones For Pat.
