Invincible Lad won well here over the minimum trip last month and has to be considered off a 7lb higher mark but he has shown better form over five furlongs and may not appreciate the extra furlong today so preference is for PRESCRIPTION, who gets the vote over Methaaly. The son of Red Ransom showed improved form when successful at Warwick earlier this month and he has every chance off just a 3lb higher mark today. David Barron's Ingleby Arch bounced back to winning ways when successful over course and distance on Sunday but a 6lb penalty for that success may prevent him from following up. Richard Fahey's Quest For Success has been below par of late and disappointed when last seen on the Fibresand so he looks best watched, while Mark Johnston's Nightjar has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper for his wins here at the beginning of the year. The vote then goes the way of Sir Mark Prescott's Prescription, who has been running consistently well of late, and he looks worth siding with off the same mark as when a closing third behind Kyllachy Star at Lingfield last time.
