TOTOLI DI CODA can come out on top in this competitive opener; Phoenix Rose and Chinese Democracy are also considered. Luca Cumani's filly has been a little disappointing in maiden company so far but she may have got in lightly today for her nursery debut. She has a good draw and Keiren Fallon booked for the ride and she makes plenty of appeal. Phoenix Rose has yet to finish in the money on her three starts but she did shape with a bit of encouragement here last month. She has to enter calculations but her low draw will make life difficult. Chinese Democracy has a bit to prove at present and although she is unexposed and drawn well, she is probably best watched. Beyond The City hails from a leading yard but he tackles this trip for the first time and on breeding he should need further. This is a poor race to open the card and the narrow vote goes the way of Titoli Di Coda.
