It could pay to side with SIXTIES SWINGER in this claimer and he gets the vote over Satwa Gold and The Dial House. This is only the second time our selection has raced on the all-weather but he is in good form and he has gone close on each of his last two starts. He was only narrowly beaten by Bagber at Salisbury last month and a reproduction of that effort might just be good enough here. He is a little quirky and can run in snatches, but nonetheless he looks to have a big chance. Satwa Gold showed some decent form in maiden company, and although he has been a little disappointing since going handicapping, he is dropped to this level for the first time and he is relatively unexposed so he has to be on the shortlist. The Dial House ran his best race for a while in a handicap over this course and distance and he is another who drops into a claimer for the first time. However, consistency is not his strong point and that does temper confidence in his ability to regain the winning thread. The draw is a negative for Drussell, while Candy Rose has a bit to prove at present. We will stick with Sixties Swinger who can gain his reward for a string of consistent efforts.
