Mark Johnston's Life's Challenge is less exposed than most of these after just two starts and, being an American dirt bred colt, she should appreciate the switch to the Fibresand and she has to be respected dropped back to a mile having seemingly failed to stay 1m2f at Sandown last time but preference is for BURGUNDY ICE, with Sunnyside Tom rated the best of the rest. The selection opened her account in a handicap at Kempton last week and does have to defy a penalty for that success but she is another that has an American dirt pedigree and she may be good enough to win again on her Fibresand debut. Ruth Carr's Swiss Art has gone well here before but he seems too high in the weights racing off the same mark as when well held here last month. Peter Chapple-Hyam's Jack Cool has struggled in handicaps since winning his maiden at Yarmouth in June and of more interest may be Keys Of Cyprus, who seems reasonably well treated and has to be considered first time on the surface. The Michael Jarvis-trained Silent Hero has shown improved form of late but has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper. Richard Fahey's stable continues in good form and his runner, Sunnyside Tom, who has been running well in claimers of late, has solid claims back in a handicap but preference is for Burgundy Ice.
