Verdict

Bartholomew J is only moderate but managed to win for the eighth time at Doncaster. He's also won around here but LARGE ACTION has much more scope and could prove the one to beat. He hadn't shown much before attempting to make all at Catterick where he was still in the lead when falling at the last. William Cody has been running well at a similar level and the quicker ground will suit but Apple Rock's double at the beginning of last year came on much softer going. Niblawi is gradually dropping to a winnable mark.
