Louisiade has a good record here, comes into the race in good form and has to be respected but is probably better over shorter than a mile and preference is for Ruffie, who gets the vote ahead of Amorist. The last mentioned showed improved form in a seller last time, has been given a chance by the handicapper and does go better here than on the Polytrack surfaces so has to be respected. Davidia lacks any experience of the Fibresand so is probably best watched and of more interest may be Shifty, who has seemingly been waiting for the return of racing at Southwell where he has a very good record. Sion Hill has a dreadful strike-rate with only just one win from 56 career starts and the vote goes to Ruffie. Gay Kelleway's filly has the beating of Amorist on Wolverhampton form and has shown her liking for this track with a decent effort in a seller here last week.
