The Bonus King, Downland and Kingsmaite are three against the field in another tough race to call for punters and the tentative vote goes to Downland. The selection was only beaten six lengths by Yorkshire Blue last time, this looks easier and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. The Bonus King rates the main danger on his best form but he has not progressed as expected and although this is his easiest task for a while he has shown very little of late and for that reason he is opposed. Kingsmaite is another worthy of respect he won well last time when defeating Commando Scott and gave the impression he would be suited by this longer trip however this looks much more competitive. Of the remainder Gem Bien was a fair third behind Alpine Hideaway last time but is not sure to be suited by the step down in trip. The rest are badly out of form at present and can not be backed with any conviction and for the winner we return to Downland.
