        Verdict

        This looks a good opportunity for The Grey One to finally lose his maiden tag, Left Nostril and Boppys Dream look the best alternatives. Milton Bradley's gelding disappointed on his final run of last year but may have been over the top. His previous maiden and handicap form was of a high standard and if fit following a four month break he should be the one to beat. Left Nostril is another who has had plenty of chances and has the edge on fitness. However he is only rated 45 which gives him a little to find with the selection. Boppys Dream comes into the argument on his recent third behind Dixieland Boy over course and distance, and Denmi Sec is from a top yard and can't easily be dismissed in such a weak affair. However The Grey One has the best overall profile and he gets our vote.
