        Verdict

        Macademy Royal is progressing nicely and is a confident choice to beat Effective and Count Cougar. Hughie Morrison's charge landed a Lingfield maiden in great style last time out, beating the well fancied Scarlet Heart. The third has gone in since so the form looks rock solid and with more improvement to come he looks the one to be on. Effective was just touched off by the today's rival Cool Sands over course and distance last time out and should make another bold bid this afternoon. Meanwhile Count Cougar has already managed two victories this year and although possibly in the handicapers grip now he should still be in the shake up. Cool Sands may also now be weighted up to his best but he looks the pick of the remainder, however Macademy Royal has more scope than the rest of theese and he gets the verdict.
