    Verdict

Mudawin was being trained to win the Ebor at this time three years ago and, although dangerous to read too much into that, he is fancied to be hard to beat on this return to hurdling. Zed candy and Title Deed can give him plenty to think about, while Trevian is another interesting recruit to the winter game and is worth keeping tabs on in the betting. The last named was modest on the level, though and needs to post an improved effort for the switch in codes. Zed Candy won over a mile and six (furlongs) on the Flat at Haydock 11 days ago and is obviously in good heart. He can give the selection a good run for the money. However, Mudawin would been giving lumps of weight away were this to be run on the level and, assuming his class can come to the fore, the seven-year-old can is expected to be too tough for the rest.
