It is a toss up between whether a few of these are well handicapped or on the downgrade. So the choice of Jagged is made with a fair amount of caution advised. The list of dangers includes; So Sober, who goes well here and is down to a very attractive mark. Scary Night, who has winning course form to his name and holds the likes of The Leather Wedge on recent efforts, while Attorney has a habit of popping up in races like this and is no forlorn hope to at least reach the frame. Levelled, although now approaching the veteran stage, made the most of an opening in a Banded race earlier in the year and proved that he still has what it takes to win a race like this. Considering that the top rated horse is only on a mark of 55, this does smack of a warm up for lesser things to come through the winter. But Jagged has the ability to stay above the fringe of the dreaded Banded ratings band and he is fancied to prove it today.
