A very modest contest that can go to Gryskirk, who may represent more value than Windy Prospect, who has a little to prove regarding the trip, and Caitlin, who is respected but needs to prove her victory over course and distance was not just a one-off performance. Countrywide Sun hails from a yard that have been back amongst the winners of late and is another that is worth monitoring for signs of support. Windy Prospect, whose Redcar form was boosted by Space Shuttle on the first day of the York meeting, is sure to be a popular choice and will be hard to keep out of the frame. The assessor has taken no chances with Paul Blockley's charge though and it will take a very good effort for him to last home on these terms over a trip that has so far proved to be beyond him. Therefore, it may be more profitable to give another chance to Gryskirk, who did well against a useful sort from Mark Prescott's impeccable string last time. The fitting of an eye shield for this first visit to Southwell will help the son of Selkirk adapt to the surface and, now that he has proved that he is better in this lesser grade, a better effort from Gryskirk is anticipated today.
