Signal Hill should not be opposed in this modest maiden, Shunkawakhan and Ms Rainbow Runner could be the ones to fight out the places. The selection made his debut at Newcastle and missed a beat at the start, crossed over from his high draw and from well off the pace, ran on to take third after not getting the best of runs through. He's certainly expected to come on for that run. Ms Rainbow Runner put in her best performance when running on the all-weather at Lingfield. She has since been a shade disappointing on the turf, but she is possibly a better horse on an artificial surface and is worthy of respect. Shunkawakhan has shown plenty of ability in two races to date and will be very difficult to keep out of the frame. The only other one to consider for each-way purposes is Bryan Smart's Zhukov, but Signal Hill is expected to improve leaps and bounds and is a confident choice.
