Verdict
Rochesis belied odds of 100/1 when making a promising debut at Folkestone last month but it remains to be seen whether she can reproduce that form and in a poor contest preference is for Soft Gold, who gets the vote over Enchanting Times. The last mentioned ran one of her better races when finding just Isphahan too good at Brighton last month but that was on a fast surface and the daughter of Danetime is not certain to be as effective on today's slower surface. Sapphire Storm has plenty to find on official BHB ratings and of more interest may be the lightly raced Make My Dream, who takes a drop in class here. Beautiful South has claims on the pick of his form but has disappointed of late, while Smoking Star may want further to show of her best. The vote then goes to Soft Gold, who has shown enough in better races than this to suggest that he will take plenty of beating in this company.
